2-Hour Buggy Tour in Erg Chebbi
Higher dunes, the black desert and a nomad tent: two hours in a buggy to see much more of Merzouga.
In two hours the buggy shows what it can really do. After warming up on easy sand, your guide takes you towards the bigger dunes, where the long suspension lets you climb slopes that look impossible from below and come down them slowly and safely.
We then cross onto the hamada for a fast stretch on the black stones and stop at a nomad family's tent for tea. The last part of the ride returns through the dunes with the light getting warmer. In the late afternoon it can finish with the sunset from a high crest.

Questions
Do I need a driving licence for the buggy?
We ask the driver to have a car driving licence. The passenger does not need anything, just a sense of adventure.
Is the buggy good for families?
Yes. With seat belts and a roll cage it is the safest way to share the dunes with older children sitting next to a parent.
Is it difficult to drive on the dunes?
Not with a guide. He chooses the lines and shows you how to climb and descend. You simply follow his tracks at your own pace.
