Full-Day KTM Enduro in the Sahara

Full dayErg Chebbi · TaouzAdventurePrivate

A full day of desert enduro: the big dunes of Erg Chebbi, the rally tracks towards Taouz and lunch in the desert.

A day for real riders. We leave early in the morning, when the sand is firm and fresh, and spend the first hours in the dunes of Erg Chebbi, climbing crests and crossing sandy valleys with your guide. It is the best moment for dune riding, before the heat softens the sand.

After a break, we head south on the fast tracks used by the great desert rallies, through the black desert and the dry riverbeds towards Taouz, near the Algerian border, where there are ancient rock carvings. Lunch is served in a quiet spot, and we return to Merzouga in the late afternoon along the eastern side of the dunes.

Questions

What level do I need for the KTM tours?

You should be comfortable on a manual off-road motorbike. Sand is new for most riders, so the guide adapts the route and gives tips from the first minute.

Is riding gear included?

Yes: helmet, goggles, gloves and body protection. You can also bring your own boots and gear if you prefer.

Do I need a motorbike licence?

We ride off-road, but we recommend a motorbike licence or solid off-road experience. Tell us your level when you book.
